An organic substrate that can be used in hydroponics or other soil less mixes. Coconut fibres are comprised of much air and little water; the pH falls between 5 to 6. Coco may be used in all hydroponics applications in place of rock wool by filling small pots (CocoTek® liners, baskets or planters) treating just as a cube. It has also a tremendous capacity for absorbing water, and responds well to nutrients. Coco-Mix can also be used in the rejuvenation of soil mixes to improve aeration and nutrient uptake.
